BLUSH IS THE NEW WHITE

Blush is the new white. I happen to love the blush color palette. It is such a broad spectrum. Blush can be from light pinks to dusty roses and mauve's. It is so much more unique than stark white. Being in this business for long enough, stark white gets pretty boring. Nothing against it, but blush puts a new spin on things. I love mixing blush colored roses with calla lilies in a bouquet. We have a champagne rosette linen and paired with some dusty rose napkins is gorgeous.

Even though you have a champagne and blush color palette, white dishes can be brought in and tied in with some plain white seat cushions. When choosing a ballroom seat cushion, I try to match the color dishes. Its funny when people come into our showroom. We set up tables with linens, dishes, glasses, napkins etc. Unless you have a family style dinner, dishes are never on the table. They are also never all put out at once. We obviously have to show you the final product, but keep in mind you will not walk into your reception room with dishes on your table. I love renting out the charger plates because it gives your table a specific place setting for your guest. If you don't have the money to use glass chargers, acrylic are much more affordable and more choices to choose from. Back to blush - although the palette is broad, I think using it to your creative advantage gives it a unique feel for your guests to remember forever.
